Summary
You can browse everything — quotes, charts, the screener, ownership data — without signing in, and without an account we hold no personal data about you beyond ordinary server logs. Signing in is only needed to save a watchlist, record a portfolio, or use AI analysis. Nothing is sold, and nothing is used for advertising.
What we collect
If you sign in with Google: your email address, name and profile picture, as supplied by Google. We request only basic profile scopes — no access to Gmail, Drive, Contacts or any other Google service. We never see or receive your Google password.
Your watchlist: the stock symbols you save, stored against your email address as the identifier.
Your portfolio, if you use it: the trades you enter — symbol, buy or sell, quantity, price, fees and date. This is the most sensitive data here, because together it describes your holdings. It is stored against your email address, is visible only to you, is never shared with any third party, and is never sent to the AI provider. We do not connect to your broker and cannot see any account you hold elsewhere; only what you type in.
Usage counters: counts of AI-analysis requests, keyed to your identifier and held temporarily, used to enforce rate limits and daily quotas so one account cannot run up unbounded cost.
Server logs: our hosting provider records standard request information such as IP address, timestamp and user agent, as any web server does.
What we do not collect
We do not use advertising or analytics trackers, we do not build behavioural profiles, we do not collect financial account details or brokerage credentials, and we have no ability to trade on your behalf. We have no connection to any broker: the only holdings we know about are the ones you choose to type into the portfolio yourself, and we cannot see, verify or act on any account you hold elsewhere.
Cookies
A single session cookie is set when you sign in, so that you stay signed in between pages. It is not used for tracking or advertising. Signing out removes it.
Who your data is shared with
We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it for marketing. It is processed by the infrastructure providers needed to run the service:
- Google — authentication (only if you choose to sign in)
- Vercel — application hosting and request logs
- Supabase — database storing your watchlist and portfolio
- Upstash — temporary cache and rate-limit counters
- OpenAI— generates the “explain today's move” text. Only a stock ticker and its public market data are sent. Your identity, email, watchlist and portfolio are never sent.
Retention and deletion
Your watchlist and portfolio are kept until you remove the entries or ask for your account to be deleted. Deleting a trade removes it immediately and permanently. Usage counters expire automatically within a day. To have all data associated with your account deleted, email the address below from the account you signed in with, and we will remove it. You may also revoke this application's access at any time from your Google account's security settings.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to its processing. Contact us at the address below to exercise any of these.
Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with the providers listed above. Because we rely on Google for sign-in, we never store passwords. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This service is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
